Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-4-604(a)(1), we follow the Schedule of Reasonable Charges set forth by the Office of Open Records Counsel (Comptroller of the Treasury).

Do I have to be a Tennessee citizen to request a copy of a record?

Yes. According to Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503(a)(7)(A)(vi) and our Records Request Policy, only Tennessee citizens have the right to inspect and receive copies of public records. Proof of current Tennessee citizenship is required.
